We offer wedding bands that play music in almost any genre you can think of! While some bands specialise in a particular genre (jazz or Motown, for example), most play an incredible mix of music that combines all-time classics with today's biggest hits to ensure everyone - from kids to grandparents - has an amazing time dancing the night away.

Wherever you are in the UK (or the world), you'll be able to find a brilliant band with Entertainment Nation. As well as having bands located across the UK, most of our acts are happy to travel to your venue. Choose your location from the location filter and all act from prices will update to include travel to that area.

Your band will do their best to work your favourites from their repertoire into their setlist for the big night. The band can't promise to play all of your selections - but they're experienced professionals and you can rely on them to perform a setlist that maintains the party vibe and keeps everyone dancing. Bands hone their setlists over years of performing; creating one that has maximum impact at your event is all part of the service.

The cost of hiring a wedding band can vary based on factors like the band's size, availability, and travel distance, but there's something for every budget! For smaller budgets, you might consider a solo artist or duo instead of a larger band.

Almost all of our wedding bands provide high-quality sound and lighting equipment as standard. Unless otherwise specified, your band comes with everything they need to perform and even handle the setup for you! The equipment they bring will depend on the act (for example, an acoustic duo won't need a big sound system), so check their profile for details. All equipment is fully PAT-tested with certificates available upon request.

There's no need to hire a separate DJ - most of our wedding bands include a DJ service as standard! This is usually a pre-selected playlist of music played through the act's equipment that the band knows will keep everyone in the party mood. Some bands offer a manned DJ option for taking requests. If you're after the full DJ experience, we've got a great selection of pro wedding DJs to choose from too!

For evening wedding reception performances, your band will arrive at approximately 5-6pm, and once they've set up they'll be ready to get your guests up on the dance floor and keep them entertained all night long! The band will typically be with you all the way up to midnight.

Some bands are happy to accommodate early arrivals or late finishes, usually with an added fee to cover their time. If this is something you need, be sure to let us know and we'll discuss the arrangements with your favoured acts prior to booking.

Many bands offer optional daytime sets to provide music throughout the day. Options include chilled afternoon acoustic duo sets, laid-back lounge sets and even full roaming band sets, where the band will perform as they wander amongst your guests.

How long your wedding band takes to set up their equipment will depend on the intricacy of their set-up and ease of access to the venue (a parking space near to the performance area helps massively!). As standard, we'd advise to allow for at least 90 minutes to set up and sound check, giving your band enough time to be fully ready to get the party started!

Standard wedding band performance times are usually 2 x 60-minute sets or 3 x 40-minute sets of live music. This can vary depending upon the band - some bands even offer optional additional sets - so check out each band's profile to find out what their package includes.
