OUR ALL-TIME FAVOURITE WEDDING DANCE ROUTINES

Last Updated: 19th July 2022

The first dance is an emotional highlight at any wedding, and at Entertainment Nation we’re lucky to have been a part of countless couples’ moment to shine on the dance floor. The traditional slow dance to a couple’s special song is a tried and tested winner, but some newlyweds take things a step further and prepare a choreographed routine.

Wedding dance routine creativity isn’t restricted to the first dance: Bridesmaids and best men surprise the bride and groom, fathers and daughters share a touching routine, or the wedding party arrive at the marriage ceremony in style.

There are thousands of examples of people busting marital moves out there. We’ve sifted through the best and the worst of them, so you don’t have to. Do you have anything planned? Are you tempted? (If you are we’d love to know about it, drop us an email or give us a call – we may even suggest some moves and song choices too!) Read on to find out our all-time favourite wedding dance routines!

Brides and Bridesmaids Smash Beyonce Medley

This lucky guy had no idea what to expect when he got dragged out into the middle of the dance floor, but it surely wasn’t a personal dance from a bevy of Beyonces!

It’s a Kind of Magic

A beautiful couple with a trick or two up their sleeves – be sure to wait for the breathtaking climax and wonder “how on earth did he do that?”

That’s What Makes You Beautiful!

Pure joy in video form. Cute kids, One Direction and dad dancing – what more could you want? Choreography courtesy of Just Dance 4 on the Wii!

Hip Hop Wedding Dance

We’d sign these guys onto our books! They nail a medley of hip hop classics and get the party started. A stunning venue too.

Ultimate First Dance Mash Up

Here’s an idea for those who can’t decide on a song for their first dance… mash them all together.

Dad’s Unforgettable Gesture on his Daughter’s Big Day

The father and daughter dance is always a touching moment. While this video isn’t a dance, you’ll need a box of tissues handy as a dad surprises his daughter with a signed rendition of “I Loved Her First”.

The Bridal Party’s Epic Dance Routine

Watch as this bridal party build up to the most epic wedding dance routine. It’s so cool and a total suprise to the unsuspecting guests!

Surprise Flashmob

We love how this couple arranged a whole flashmob for their first dance! It’s so totally unexpected and really exciting to watch! One of the best wedding dance routines we’ve seen for sure.

Here Comes the Bride!

And of course, no list of the greatest wedding dance routines would be complete without the one that started it all. Sit back and enjoy the JK Wedding Entrance. Whether it’s your first time watching or your fiftieth, it’s impossible to watch this without a big grin on your face.

If you feel inspired to put together a routine of your own, it’s probably time to get rehearsing. Take a look through some of Entertainment Nation’s amazing wedding bands and work with them to put together a spectacular choreographed ceremony entrance, routine or first dance of your own. Of course, if you prefer the beautiful simplicity of a traditional first dance, our function bands will be delighted to learn your special song.

We’re available from 10am to 10pm daily, and we always love to hear from you. If you’ve got any questions give us a call or start a live chat now!
