    Bring the feel-good vibes of a Caribbean summer to your venue with Summer on Steel, a versatile steel pannist who radiates talent!

    A unique, professional and skilled soloist, Summer on Steel brings over 20 years of experience covering a huge range of music on the steel pan. From vintage 1940s pieces to the current chart favourites and everything in between, he covers ska, reggae, and calypso, but also puts a fresh twist on pop, jazz, theme music, soul, R&B, country, hip hop, funk, ambient, and more!

    Summer on Steel has honed his skills through countless engagements. He's performed across Europe and the UK at every manner of event, from weddings to Bar Mitzvahs, parties, festivals, festive celebrations and corporate events. Among his high profile clients are Barnet Council, ITV, Buckingham Palace, the Rugby Council, and many more.

    Summer on Steel is self-contained and brings all his own equipment, including a PA system suitable for up to 300 guests. He offers an optional afternoon acoustic set, and will learn your first dance or a special request included in his booking fee.

    "I can't praise Summer on Steel enough. He sure knows his way around the steel drums, but more than that, he also knows how to entertain. He went the extra mile for us as well, joining in with a couple of extra bits we asked him to do and doing a great job in the process. I hired him for me and my twin brother's 60th "do" after my wife said it would be good to have a steel drummer play for the first part of the evening whilst people were gathering and then eating. I wasn't entirely sure at the time, but, just for once, I'm glad I listened to her. Not promising I'll listen again, but this time I have to admit she was right. His contribution to the evening was a major part in its success. And he's a really nice bloke too. Highly recommended."
