It was the discovery of his father's long forgotten baritone sax that set Savoy Sax onto his musical journey. Despite 20 years of cobwebs and dust, Savoy was intrigued by the instument and began to play. Not long after, he acquired his own alto sax, drawing inspiration from the virtuosic technique and improvisational harmonies of Charlie Parker and Sonny Rollins.
Since the age of 17, Savoy Sax has performed live as a solo saxophonist and in numerous bands and ensembles. He boasts over 20 years as a professional musician working alongside USA and UK chart acts at venues all across the UK and Europe, in recording studios, on TV, and radio.
