Our Delight are a smooth jazz band who perform standards from the Great American Songbook. Their selection of over 150 jazz, gypsy jazz, Bossa Nova, French, Spanish and festive sets bring the style and glamour of the 1920s to your venue. The lead singer, a talented female vocalist, is accompanied by skilled double bass and guitarthat makes for perfect background music to get your guests relaxed. Don't be fooled by their laid-back sets though, because when Our Delight turn up the tempo, you'll be itching to don your ostrich feathers!
Formed in 2003, highlights for Our Delight include performances in jazz festivals around the UK and Europe, wedding and corporate work, and Paul McCartney's 2012 Christmas Party. They've also provided the atmosphere at prestigious hotels like The Ritz and The Dorchester, so they know how to keep things classy!
To make things extra special, Our Delight will learn a special request or your first dance as part of the booking process (extra requests can be made for a fee). The band will provide their own small amplification if required. Be sure to enquire after their optional afternoon acoustic set, cocktail pianist set or a solo acoustic performance if you want to work even more music around your day!
