Get your kicks with Lookout, a funky 7-piece collective of professional London musicians combining technical expertise with a reputation for top-quality funk, rock, pop, soul and jazz!

With a repertoire of classics through the 60s, 70s and 80s, contemporary and indie favourites, club land favourites, old school legends, hip-hop, and plenty of slow dances to take you into the early hours, everyone can get behind Lookout's tasty repertoire. Covering hits by Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Stevie Wonder, Ed Sheeran, Michael Jackson and many others, this colourful band's combination of male and female vocals, keys, LED and acoustic drums, guitar, and bass takes you seamlessly through the genres and the ages in a dose of top-class entertainment sure to please all tastes.

Lookout is here to surpass expectations! The band formed while studying at university and have grown together through plenty of functions, events and weddings for the last few years. Each have individually gone on to have successful music careers, and with plenty of recommendations behind them, the band are well equipped whether they're providing background entertainment or the headline act!

Lookout provide background music between their sets to avoid any uncomfortable silences during their stay, and will learn your first dance as part of their booking fee. With plenty of optional extras from jazz/live lounge sets to solo vocal acoustic and guitar sets, acoustic duo sets, drinks reception acoustic performances, and even the option to book a 4k sound system with a dedicated sound engineer, there are plenty of ways to tailor Viewpoint's act to suit you!

Prices are based on a 5pm or later arrival and Midnight finish, including 2x60 or 3x40 minute sets of live performance. Approximately 75 minutes are required for the act to set up and sound check (depending on access to the performance area).

"Every year we host 'Kenfest' a BBQ / garden party for friends, neighbours and family that gets bigger and more bonkers every year. This year was the first we introduced a band into the mix, and I think it's fair to say that we do this again, these guys are definitely first in line to perform. Super-helpful before the gig to help organise, discuss playlists and ensure everything can be as good as it can be: check. Mega-polite and efficient in set up (with a warm up that some thought was a performance): check.An absolute BELTER of two sets that got even the most stubborn up and dancing: check. A rip-roaring encore that had the crowd baying for more: very much check. You want a great band with fantastic characters who really care about delivering the best performance for your event, then look no further. "Lookout recently played at our wedding reception and they were absolutely incredible! We already knew they were all extremely talented musicians, but they blew us away on the day. We were so impressed with how they engaged with our wedding party, how well they had rehearsed and performed their set, but also, how much fun our guests had with their performances throughout the evening. Every practical and musical detail was thought of, and the band (especially Sam), created such a light-hearted, welcoming space for our guests to celebrate with us. They were well equipped and rehearsed - we didn't have any issues on the day whatsoever. The band provided their own lights, all programmed in a specific design for each songs which added so much to the overall atmosphere. We were able to liaise with the band beforehand to adapt the set with a few of our own preferences. They even learned the song we wanted for our first dance so that we didn't just have to play it from our own mp3 device..."

"We recently had Lookout play for our wedding and they were great. They made sure all the details were thought about, and even made arrangements themselves with the tech support from our venue so we didn't have to worry about anything. They adapted their set list to suit our guest demographics so we ended up with some great songs. Our guests loved it, and the dance floor was always packed when the band were playing - a great atmosphere. They were really flexible with timings and how long their sets were, even adapting on the night to make it run smoothly. Instead of a first dance we did a first song and the band were really generous in backing us for this. They were open to our ideas and made the effort to rehearse with us the night before - this plan would have been a lot harder to pull off without them - thank you! They were efficient and easy to communicate with. Stress free, which is exactly what you need for a big event! Can't fault the guys, they're great musicians - we'd hire them again ourselves!"

However, the guys exceeded my expectations. Not only did they come across in a warm manner, they had a good mastery of different material and styles.
