Gypsy Jarmarka consists of lead female vocals, violin, guitar, accordion, cello, percussion and a sensational dancer in full gypsy dress. Their colourful performance displays the fun, drama and passion of Russian Romani music. Also included in Gypsy Jarmarka's repertoire are a range of traditional folk, dance and instrumental pieces. Every band member performs in traditional, hand-crafted costumes.
With over 5 years of professional performance together and many more years as musicians, Gypsy Jarmarka have a wealth of experience across the UK and the world. Some highlights include performing at the Victoria and Albert Museum and many art centres across the country, as well as corporate functions for Rosgosstrakh Insurance, Open Russia Conference and many more. That’s not even mentioning that they performed on Turkish television.
As standard, Gypsy Jarmarka’s 6-piece band delivers an incredible performance. You also have the option to reduce their line up to a 5, 4 or 3-piece band. Whether you choose to opt for their larger line-up or their smaller options, you will have a fantastic night of genuine Russian Romani music.
Gypsy Jarmarka arrive with full PA for their performance and provide a playlist DJ service to run in between their live sets. Also, for your event, the band will learn and perform a special request or first dance live on the night of your event, all included in the price.
