Big City Rovers have been playing together for over 15 years and the two guitarists have been performing since they were able to speak - hardly surprising when you learn that they are Elvis Costello's brothers and the sons of Ross MacManus, known for his time with the Joe Loss Orchestra and also the voice of the famous R Whites Lemonade advert song "Secret Lemonade Drinker!"
The band have performed live on Fox TV, Sky Sports, ITV, The One Show and extensively throughout Europe and the USA. They've played on the pitches of Celtic Park on numerous Champions League nights, Twickenham Stadium for the Heineken Cup Finals and for many years at London Irish Rugby Club. Festival appearances include the world-famous Glastonbury and they've supported former Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon and his band Public Image Ltd at London's O2 on several occasions as well as The Cranberries, Thin Lizzy, The Sawdoctors, Christy Moore and American punk band The Dropkick Murphys. On top of this they've also recorded with Russell Crowe, Elvis Costello and Shane MacGowan to name but a few! This musical pedigree and extensive experience means that their performance is absolutely top-notch and guaranteed to have the audience hooked.
