Biography:

You and your guests will be swept away by Gigi and The Drifts' simmeringly soulful renditions of jazz, blues, soul, RnB and reggae songs.

Led by their velvet-voiced vocalist, this versatile collective's songbook spans jazz and blues classics by legends like Etta James, Nina Simone and Howling Wolf, soulful tunes from the 50s, 60s and 70s by greats such as Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye and Otis Redding, and chilled lounge, reaggae and soul from artists as varied as Massive Attack, Blackstreet and Bob Marley.

Gigi and The Drifts are available as a 5-piece as standard, but you can tailor their line up to suit the requirements of your event: they're available as a duo, trio or quartet with instruments of your choice. You can also choose to add a saxophone and make up a full 6-piece show band.

Gigi is an utterly captivating singer who has performed in sell-out theatre productions, played to crowds of 50,000 people, and collaborated with top producers like Aamir Yacub and Guy Chambers. The Drifts are no less qualified! Between them, these dedicated musicians have racked up performances at Glastonbury, Ronnie Scott's Benicassim, Love Supreme Jazz Festival, The Royal Albert Hall and many other illustrious events and venues.

Gigi and The Drifts arrive equipped with their own professional PA system, and offer a playlist DJ service, all within the fee. They are also more than happy to perform a special request for you and your guests.
