We both work with young people too, helping to inspire the next generation to enjoy and value the benefits that music can bring to life!&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\r\n<br \/>\r\n \r\n<h2>Which song is your favourite to perform?<\/h2>\r\n<p><i>&#8220;Straight in there with one of the hardest questions to ask! We both have a big love for soul, jazz and RnB \u2013 if we get to play something by Stevie Wonder in a set, that\u2019s always a win. There\u2019s a great song by the Coasters that we like to play called \u2018Down In Mexico\u2019. We sometimes get to play it at more low-key events and it always goes down well!&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\r\n<br \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/www.entertainment-nation.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/heartsome976314916-800x533.jpeg\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:100%;\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7737\" \/>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n \r\n\r\n<h2>Out of the songs you\u2019ve been asked to learn, which is your favourite?<\/h2>\r\n<p><i>&#8220;We\u2019ve loved learning all sorts of songs for ceremonies, first dances, you name it! For seasonal events we often get asked for Christmas songs. They\u2019re great for creating interesting arrangements due to most of them having some pretty interesting, jazz harmony. We\u2019ve done a groovy Bossa version of All I Want For Christmas before which was a vibe. There was a cool track called \u2018Ferris Wheel\u2019 by Sylvan Esso that we were asked to learn for a wedding ceremony at a beautiful venue in Suffolk. It\u2019s always great to get requests, especially when it\u2019s of some great music we haven\u2019t heard before!&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\r\n<br \/>\r\n \r\n<h2>One final song question, which is the song you can always rely on to fill the dance floor?<\/h2>\r\n<p><i>&#8220;That\u2019s a pretty tricky question because every crowd can be different! There are always standard tracks, but of late, throwing I\u2019ll Be There For You (Friends theme) and Hey Ya (Outkast) along with your classics like Don\u2019t Stop Me Now (Queen) tends to get people up dancing and singing along\u2026 but then again, it might be the sort of crowd that want to party to ABBA, Dolly Parton and Tina Turner! We always try and have a handful of \u2018power\u2019 songs from different genres that suit particular groups of people so that we can get the party going!&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\r\n<br \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.entertainment-nation.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/heartsome-duo-performing-at-wedding-800x524.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"524\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8116\" \/>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<h2>Do you get on with each other all of the time?<\/h2>\r\n<p><i>&#8220;We\u2019re actually a married couple ourselves\u2026 so yes! We love creating a feel-good musical vibe for other couples\u2019 special days!&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\r\n<br \/>\r\n \r\n<h2>Who has the most annoying habit (and what is it)?<\/h2>\r\n<p><i>&#8220;Might be better to not get into that right now\u2026&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\r\n<br \/>\r\n\r\n \r\n<h2>What\u2019s the best thing about being musicians?<\/h2>\r\n<p><i>&#8220;Getting to play music together! We both play other instruments \u2013 Han plays bass and Stu plays drums, bass, trombone, keys (you might also find him depping with other bands!). Playing music is a great way to meet new people and create long-lasting, great memories.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\r\n<br \/>\r\n \r\n<h2>\u2026 and what&#8217;s the worst?<\/h2>\r\n<p><i>&#8220;The packing down, and long late night drives home, of course\u2026 a labour of love!&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\r\n<br \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/www.entertainment-nation.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/heartsome2024318071-800x533.jpeg\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:100%;\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7738\" \/>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n \r\n<h2>What\u2019s the weirdest thing that\u2019s happened to you at a wedding\/event?<\/h2>\r\n<p><i>&#8220;It might be best not to repeat some of the situations we\u2019ve found ourselves in. There can often be that character who&#8217;s had one too many shandies and has decided it might be better if they entertain the guests instead of us\u2026 but hey, it\u2019s all part of the fun\u2026 isn\u2019t it?&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\r\n<br \/>\r\n \r\n<h2>Most memorable moment?<\/h2>\r\n<p><i>&#8220;Too many to mention! There are so many great people at the places we play, and we love meeting people! There was once a friends themed wedding though and they did Monica and Ross&#8217;s &#8216;the routine&#8217; for their first dance&#8230; that was unique!&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\r\n<br \/>\r\n \r\n<h2>If you weren&#8217;t musicians, what would you be doing?<\/h2>\r\n<p><i>&#8220;We both work with young people too, doing our best to inspire the next generation of musicians.
