Two wonderful people tied the knot and we thought you should hear ALL about it!<\/p>\n

Fern and Will’s special day was one to daydream about for years to come. They made each and every aspect their own and tied it together with a sensational band at the end of the night! (***Spoiler alert… it was The Lightmen<\/a>)<\/p>\n

The love-struck pair were childhood sweethearts and it’s all led up to this big day – their wedding! We got in touch with them to find out more about the magical moments that they shared earlier this year.<\/p>\n

How did you meet?<\/h4>\n

At secondary school.<\/i><\/p>\n

How did you propose?<\/h4>\n

On a beach in Cornwall whilst watching the sunset.<\/i><\/p>\n

How did you choose your venue?<\/h4>\n

We knew we wanted a barn and this was 15 minutes from our home. We chose The Kingscote Barn<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n

How did your wedding reflect you as a couple?<\/h4>\n

A very chilled vibe in the countryside.<\/i><\/p>\n

Who joined you for your big day?<\/h4>\n

70 guests \u2013 friends and family.<\/i><\/p>\n

Did you have a style or theme?<\/h4>\n

Rustic theme with natural colours.<\/i><\/p>\n

How did you personalise your wedding?<\/h4>\n

The bride made everything from scratch \u2013 from the invitations, welcome sign, seating plan, centrepieces, place cards, d\u00e9cor etc.<\/i><\/p>\n

Getting Ready:<\/h3>\n

The bridal party got ready in the luxurious dressing room at Kingscote Barn, complete with lightbulb mirrors, velvet spinning boutique chairs, a picture perfect floral backdrop and a lounge\/kitchen area for the essentials on wedding day morning – all the snacks and all the bubbly!<\/p>\n

Fern opted for a classic bun up-do with loose face-framing curls and natural make up. The dress… OH THE DRESS! It’s simple, elegant, lacey, figure-hugging and most importantly, it’s a frock you can dance in – but more of that later.<\/p>\n

The flowers were also inkeeping with the natural theme, roses with lots of folliage and a simple white rose button hole for the boys! The bridesmaids wore a satin sage green gown – which by the way compliments everyone (they looked amazing), and the ushers had beige tweed suits with soft brown ties – with Will sporting a very handsome bow tie.<\/p>\n

Ready as they’ll ever be, it was time to tie the knot!<\/p>\n

The Ceremony:<\/h3>\n

A bright barn with minimalist decor was waiting for Fern and Will. Rustic-style wooden chairs and clusters of lit candles lined the aisle and two sheer white drapes framed the altar.<\/p>\n

Exchanging vows in front of everyone they love, Fern and Will became Mr and Mrs Evans! Whoop whoop!<\/p>\n

As they made their way back down the aisle they shared a kiss and a flutter of white rose petals surrounded them. What a fairy tale day so far – and it only gets better!<\/p>\n
