We welcome you to the blog of Sophie and Matt’s stunning wedding with Wandering Wings. Complete with acoustic vibes, a gloriously decorated Tipi, and plenty of moves and grooves on the dance floor, everyone had a brilliant night.
Sophie and Matt knew that Wandering Wings were just what they needed to bring their festival-style wedding to life, fairy lights and all. So they booked them and continued to swoon over their sensational video for 18 months. Sophie and Matt had a few requests for the 5-piece, then left Wandering Wings to pick the best of the bunch from their repertoire, meaning one thing and one thing only – no space on the dance floor!
Wandering Wings are first and foremost an acoustic wedding band perfect for festival and barn-themed weddings. Their set list consists of folky favourites from Mumford and Sons, George Ezra and Of Monsters and Men, modern pop hits from Bruno Mars, Maroon 5 and Justin Bieber and floor-filling soul and Motown classics from the likes of Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder. Armed with an awe-inspiring lead male vocalist, beautifully harmonised backing vocals, acoustic guitar, double bass, keys, drums and sax, these exceptionally talented and experienced young musicians will leave you with no voice and sore feet – in a good way!
